Integrated Marketing Campaign
Twitter partnered with Disney/IMAX in 2018 to create buzz around Marvels Studios’ film Black Panther. Our in-house Studio team created co-branded content and messaging, creating a program look and feel that was shared out on multiple channels inviting fans to watch a live stream Cast Q&A only on Twitter. To create the buzz among fans, Twitter worked closely with Disney/IMAX to create a roadmap of content and message releases using O&O channels like @Twitter, @TwitterLive, @Disney, @IMAX, email and billboards spanning North America creating the largest digital out-of-home roadblock with 400 screens, a take over in NYC and 55MM impressions in 3 hours inviting fans to join the livestream Black Panther Cast Q&A only on Twitter. We surprised superfans with tickets to the live show where they were given one of a kind gifts and could see their favorite actors in person. For those fans who were unable to attend the Q&A, they were invited to watch the show via @TwitterLive and be part of the conversation by Tweeting questions they want answered by the cast ‘in real time’.
Result: Black Panther became the most tweeted movie of 2018, #BlackpantherLIVE activation resulted in 6MM views.
